Update: BLOs Complete First-Round Visits to 1.5 Crore Households; 87% Enumeration Forms Distributed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Patna, July 4, 2025:<\/strong> The Special Intensive Revision (S.I.R.) of electoral rolls is being implemented smoothly across Bihar, with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) completing the first round of door-to-door visits covering nearly 1.5 crore households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eci.gov.in\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.eci.gov.in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Election Commission of India <\/a><\/strong>(ECI), as of June 24, 2025, a total of\u00a0<strong>6.86 crore voters<\/strong>\u00a0have received enumeration forms\u2014<strong>87%<\/strong>\u00a0of Bihar\u2019s\u00a0<strong>7.89 crore<\/strong>\u00a0registered voters. The BLOs will visit each household up to three times to ensure maximum coverage, accounting for houses found locked due to reasons like migration, travel, or voter deaths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ECI has made partially pre-filled forms available for download on the official&nbsp;<a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/voters.eci.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">voter portal<\/a>&nbsp;and the ECI-NET mobile application. Voters also have the option to upload completed forms directly through the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally,&nbsp;<strong>1,54,977 Booth Level Agents (BLAs)<\/strong>, nominated by various political parties, are actively assisting BLOs in the S.I.R. process. The party-wise deployment as of July 2 is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>BJP<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 52,689<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RJD<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 47,504<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>JD(U)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 34,669<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>INC<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 16,500<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 1,913<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CPI(ML) Liberation<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 1,271<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>LJP (Ram Vilas)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 1,153<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CPI(M)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 578<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rashtriya Lok Samta Party<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 270<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>BSP<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 74<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NPP<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AAP<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each BLA is permitted to submit a maximum of 50 verified forms per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, around&nbsp;<strong>38 lakh signed and completed forms<\/strong>&nbsp;have been collected by BLOs. The ECI reaffirmed its commitment to&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Priority Inclusion&#8221;<\/strong>, ensuring no eligible voter is left out of the electoral roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be included in the&nbsp;<strong>draft electoral roll<\/strong>, scheduled for&nbsp;<strong>publication on August 1, 2025<\/strong>, voters must&nbsp;<strong>submit their signed enumeration forms by July 25, 2025<\/strong>. The verification of online submissions is also underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the draft roll is released, the ECI will begin the claims and objections process from&nbsp;<strong>August 2, 2025<\/strong>. The final electoral roll will be published on&nbsp;<strong>September 30, 2025<\/strong>.
