No. 21\/2025) inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of Agriculture Officer, TAFS, Gr-I, Group-B Gazetted under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers&#8217; Welfare, Government of Tripura. The positions are on a regular basis with a pay scale of Rs. 10,230-34,800\/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800\/- (pay level 13 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 136 posts are available, including reservations for women and Physically Handicapped (PH) categories. The number of posts is subject to change based on the department&#8217;s requisition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Post Name:<\/strong> Agriculture Officer, TAFS, Gr-I, Group-B Gazetted\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Total Vacancies:<\/strong> 136<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pay Scale:<\/strong> Rs. 10,230-34,800\/- with GP Rs. 4,800\/- (Pay Level 13 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Essential Qualification:<\/strong> A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Agriculture\/Horticulture from a recognized University\/Institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Desirable Qualifications:<\/strong> Knowledge of Agro-climatic conditions of Tripura and knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Residency:<\/strong> Applicants must possess a Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Age Limit:<\/strong> 40 years as on August 20, 2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for ST\/SC candidates, Government Servants, and other categories as specified by the State Government.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selection process comprises two stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Written Examination:<\/strong> 180 marks (MCQ-based) with a duration of 3 hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interview\/Personality Test:<\/strong> 20 marks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates will be called for the Interview\/Personality Test based on their written test results. The ratio for calling candidates to the Personality Test is: 5 candidates for 1 vacancy,&nbsp; candidates for 2 vacancies, and 3 times the number of vacancies for 3 or more vacancies.
