Secretary Shibcharan Debbarma presented the annual report, and Sumit Debbarma submitted the financial statement. Advisors Mohammad Zakir Hossain, Lakhan Debbarma, and Jacob Debbarma, along with other journalists, addressed the gathering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p3\">Following deliberations, the outgoing president formally dissolved the existing committee. Advisor Mohammad Zakir Hossain then chaired the session to oversee the formation of the new committee. With consensus from all members present, the following office bearers were elected:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>President<\/strong>: Lakhan Debbarma <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Vice Presidents<\/strong>: Amir Hossain, Nitya Debbarma <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Secretary<\/strong>: Shibcharan Debbarma Joint <strong>Secretary<\/strong>: Sumit Debbarma Office Secretary: Braja Debbarma <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Cultural Secretary:<\/strong> Salkeichang Debbarma <strong>Treasurer<\/strong>: Shakti Kalai<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p3\">The newly elected leadership stated that a meeting will soon be convened with all advisors and members to outline future initiatives aimed at strengthening the press club\u2019s role in the region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tripura, June 30, 2025: The Jampuijala Press Club held its first annual general meeting on Monday at the Boyar Market Hall in Takarjala, where a new executive committee was unanimously elected.
