He attributed the successful recruitment to the transparent policy of the state government and the hard work of the aspirants. \u201cThis is a significant milestone in youth employment in the state,\u201d he added. He further announced that the recruitment process for 218 sub-inspectors will begin soon, and the government has already approved 916 additional constable posts. Crime rates fell by 19.4% in 2024 compared to 2023, and a further 10% decline has been noted in the first four months of 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Chief Minister also mentioned Tripura Police\u2019s contributions during recent elections, which earned appreciation from the Election Commission of India. He highlighted the state\u2019s commitment to a women-friendly environment, including the establishment of 2407 women help desks, the operation of the 1091 women helpline, and nine dedicated women police stations one in each district. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He concluded by urging the new recruits to serve the public with integrity and build a friendly relationship with the people, thereby strengthening the police department\u2019s image.
