Organized jointly by The Mind Tree Abacus, Mahatma Gandhi Youth Computer Center, and Step Up Classes, the event was part of the inauguration ceremony of Balitikuri\u2019s first Abacus Institute On Sunday, May 11. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a nominal registration fee of just \u20b920, the event drew participation from over 500 children across various age groups of from class I &#8211; V. Thoughtful and relevant themes such as \u201cAir Pollution,\u201d \u201cWater Pollution,\u201d \u201cMy Mother, My Inspiration,\u201d \u201cNature and Me,\u201d and \u201cA Day with My Family\u201d were given to the participants, allowing them to express their thoughts and emotions through vibrant colours. Shubhajit Pramanik, in-charge of the Abacus teaching team, shared, \u201cAccording to the National Education Policy 2020, it is crucial to build numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills at the primary level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learning Abacus helps in the development of children\u2019s brains and enhances memory and focus. This is how we can nurture a smart and confident future generation.\u201d The judges praised the originality and artistic abilities of the children. Art is a language of imagination. I want every child to draw with joy to think freely and paint with their heart.\u201d The event was graced by renowned social worker Soumen Bandyopadhyay and enthusiastic parents, many of whom praised the initiative. One parent commented, \u201cEvents like this not only nurture creativity in our children but also help build confidence, focus, and a positive mindset. My child truly enjoyed the competition today, learned something new, and expressed their thoughts through colours nothing could make us happier.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event concluded with a group photo session and light refreshments, making it a fun-filled and memorable day for the young participants.
