He emphasized that this cannot be achieved by the state government alone every section of society must come forward and contribute to the cause. The present government is actively working to protect and promote the culture and heritage of various indigenous communities in the state, he added. \u201cCulture is the identity of any community. No culture should be allowed to disappear,\u201d he said, calling on all culture-loving citizens to extend their support. Addressing the gathering, MLA Philip Kumar Reang remarked that although modernity has touched every corner of society, age-old traditions must not be forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u201cWe must hold on to our culture and fight against all forms of distortion and cultural degradation,\u201d he asserted. Dignitaries present at the event included MLA Pramod Reang, ADC Executive Member Bhabaranjan Reang, Executive Member Dolly Reang, MDC Shailendra Nath, MDC Bhumikananda Reang, and former Minister Premkumar Reang. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The welcome address was delivered by Shantirai Reang, President of <strong>Bru Socio Organization<\/strong>, while Rajendra Reang, Chief of Urichhara Reang Society Para, chaired the event.
