Tripura, 10 April 2025:<\/strong> Eight-year-old Rajsmita Das from Sekerkote, West Tripura, has brought pride to the state by winning the prestigious title in the popular reality show Akashe Superstar, aired on Kolkata\u2019s leading TV channel Akash 8. <\/strong><\/a>Competing against much older contestants, Rajsmita impressed the judges and audience alike with her exceptional singing talent and stage presence. Trained by her mother, Debosmita Dutta\u2014who is also her first guru Rajsmita stood out from the beginning. For the final round, she chose a song as a tribute to her mother\u2019s childhood mentor, Mitali Ghosh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her soulful performance moved the judges, one of whom remarked, \u201cIt feels like this song truly belongs to you,\u201d and gave her a standing ovation, saying the quality of her singing transcended mere scores. Rajsmita\u2019s victory has filled her parents, Rajib Das and Debosmita Dutta, with immense pride. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
